Company Eight - "The Devils of Danville"
Company Eight was formed in 1996 to protect new, annexed land from the town of Laroux. Company Two took over this fire station in 1998, making it a substation to their membership. Once Washington Heights took ownership of the land, it was dubbed Danville by its residents. The lone engine company, that protected the small community of the Danville Borough took the name "The Devils of Danville" after a string of quick responses and quick knock downs. The Company still keeps the name and tradition alive today. Company Eight has a living quarters, showers, day room, kitchen, tool room, watch room, and administrative offices that aren't used anymore. Currently quartered here is Engine 8-12 and Forestry 2-12.
