The Borough of Old Seabury
Engine 1 was awarded this 2014 Pierce Arrow XT through the AFG grant, replacing an aging and very tired 1971 Mack CF. This rig carries 750 gallons of water, 30 gallons of Class-A foam with a Pierce Husky Foam System, and has a 1,500 gallon per minute Hale fire pump. In addition to being equipped with the standard engine company equipment, Engine 1 has a set of TNT cutters and spreaders on board with associated stabilization tools, and BLS medical equipment.
Engine 282 is a 2005 American LaFrance Eagle with a 2,000 gallon per minute fire pump and a 500 gallon water tank. This unit is tasked with water supply, carrying 2,000 feet of 5" supply hose and 40 feet of hard suction hose. Carrying the basic engine company equipment and BLS medical gear, this unit responds second out to most responses in town.
